Parts of the Coolah Tops NP can only be accessed by four wheel drive vehicles. There are many 4x4 touring tracks throughout the park.

Exclusively for the "Jazz in the Tops" festival the Jemmys Creek trail is open* and 4x4 is a must for negotiating this track!

While the trail is not a "rock crawl" low range will need to be engaged to negotiate steep slippery sections.

Access to Jemmys Creek is via the Golden Highway the turnoff at Pembroke Road. The Trail starts at the base of the escarpment and access is through private property.

By special arrangement access to the start of the Trail is offered to 4X4 owners attending the festival.

* the Jemmys Creek trail is not normally open and is only open for "Jazz in the Tops" weather permitting.
