The Coolah Tops National Park is a fabulous place. There are many unique places within the parks boundary.
In addition to the Jazz, take the opportunity to do a few bush walks. National Parks and Wildlife Service "Discovery Rangers" offer guided nature walks during the festival. These walks provide a sensational opportunity to see the park in new light and are extremely popular. NSW NPWS have maps and other information on their website.
Camping is available near to (but not at) the "Jazz in the Tops" venue. Other camp sites are scattered around the park. For other accommodation ideas click HERE. The road to the festival venue is partly unsealed but suitable for all vehicles, including caravans (except very large coaches). Some of the parks locations are accessable only by four wheel drive. Exclusively for the "Jazz in the Tops" festival the Jemmys Creek Trail is open for direct access from the Golden Highway. This is only an option for four wheel drive owners! Learn more HERE. |
